We Provide "Much More Than A Meal"

Adopt-a-Route and Other Sponsorship Opportunities

Adopt-a-Route $1,000

A contribution of $1,000 feeds approximately 10 people for one month. As a thank you the agency offers the opportunity for a label recognizing the benefactor to be placed on each meal. Recognition will also be provided in the agency newsletter, published annually and delivered to over 10,000 households and businesses.

Support a Senior Center Program $2,500

A contribution of $2,000 toward a Senior Center will enable senior center participants to benefit from 12 months of weekly physical fitness programming. The funding will be used to help our seniors meet the Federal guidelines for Physical Activity for Americans, as according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, "adults aged 65 years and older gain substantial health benefits from regular physical activity."

Benefactor of the Bobbi Lewis Adult Day Center $5,000

A contribution of $5,000 for an Alert & Active Program would enable 60 individuals suffering from Alzheimer's or related conditions to benefit from a therapeutic wellness program for one year. The donation would provide participants with weekly opportunities for engaging and experiential activities administered by specialists in the corresponding activities.

Sponsor a Vehicle $10,000

A contribution of $10,000 towards sponsoring one of our 17 passenger or cargo vehicles offsets maintenance and use costs for one year. As a sponsor the company or individual would have their name adhered to the truck for the year.

Name Affixed for the Life of the Truck $35,000

These sponsorship opportunities are examples of on-going agency needs, but the agency also often has one-time needs that donors may want to consider funding. Examples include one-time needs for commissary equipment, computers and other capital needs. Please call our Development Department at 845/624-6325 for more information.

Tax deductible donations may be made by check made out to Meals on Wheels Programs & Services of Rockland, Inc at 121 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, New York 10954 or by Visa, MasterCard or American Express cards by calling (845) 624-6325.
