In-Kind Gifts
Gifts or goods or services, known as "in-kind" gifts, are very much appreciated by the agency. Some examples of how the agency uses these type of gifts are listed below.
Covered Cupboard
This emergency shelf-stable food program evolved to insure that the agenc's homebound recipients have a sufficient supply of non-perishable food items in case of a weather related or other type of emergency.
Donations of non-perishable food items are accepted during regular business hours at our main office at 121 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY.
A wonderful community service project for boy scout, girl scout, school, or other groups is to make the donations even more personal by packing the items in complete meal groups into shoeboxes, gift wrapping (tops and bottoms separately for ease of access to the contents) the shoeboxes and decorating them (please do not use glitter). Personal letters, notes, poems and small drawings add a special touch and may be included. Boxes are accepted during regular business hours at our main office at 121 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY.
Matzah at Passover
The agency will happily accept donations of boxes of matzah at Passover. Please drop off any donations during business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday) at our main office at 121 West Nyack Road in Nanuet.
