On July 7th, 2009 Meals on Wheels delivered its 8 millionth meal. Following a reception at Meals on Wheels offices The Hon. C. Scott Vanderhoef and Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee joined Meals on Wheels President/CEO Barbara Kohlhausen in delivering the 8 millionth meal in a Model A Ford.

Designer Show House on the Hudson
Friday, January 23, 2009 - Sunday, February 08, 2009

Meals on Wheels of Rockland hosted a Designer Show House on the Hudson in Upper Grandview, NY to benefit the agency. Local interior designers and artists were featured in rooms they decorated. Over 1,000 people toured the house over a two week period.
